My health journey began when a close friend emphasized the importance of checking testosterone levels. He explained that maintaining proper testosterone levels is crucial for metabolic function, mood, cognition, energy levels, and overall well-being. He also cautioned that very low levels could negatively impact these areas.
I found it odd that my primary care physician had never suggested this test, especially considering my father’s history of surviving testicular cancer about 15 years ago.
Following my friend’s advice, I purchased a total testosterone blood test from Quest Diagnostics in July 2021.
The results were shocking:

The results were significantly below the reference range cutoff—I had lower testosterone levels than 97.5% of the reference population.
I had never received such poor results from a medical test before. It was a terrible feeling, knowing that something might be seriously wrong with my endocrine system.
Since 2021, significant improvements have been made to my hormone levels. I underwent multiple medical tests and consulted with various healthcare providers to determine the root cause and address the issue effectively.

From 2021 to 2023, I tried a natural and supplement-based approach, accompanied by various medical tests to identify the root cause of my condition. In 2024, as no singular root cause was found, a doctor prescribed Enclomiphene. Despite this, I am still working on determining the underlying reason for my low testosterone levels.
